Compression Socks
People have issues with blood circulation in their legs and there are compression socks that were made to help them. These socks compress the legs in such a way as to help keep blood from pooling in the feet. The greatest pressure is at the ankles and it slowly loosens up toward the top of the sock. Diabetics should not use these kinds of socks, because diabetes causes other issues and there should be no compression in the legs or serious problems could occur.
Compression socks can come in a variety of styles and designs much like normal socks and there are even compression stockings on the market. These socks should certainly be used if there is an issue with blood circulation in the legs as they will provide better support over standard socks. The soles of the compression socks are generally cushioned to help soften the impact of walking.
